3Arena, Dublin REVIEW

You are here Home  > Entertainment >  3Arena, Dublin

The 3Arena is an indoor amphitheatre located at North Wall Quay in the Dublin Docklands in Dublin, Ireland. The venue opened on 16th December 2008.

There is no parking at the 3Arena, but there is a good drop off point just outside for cars and taxis. The surface is smooth and flat, so poses no issues for wheelchairs. The entrance is two large doors and assistance is available for anyone with a disability accessing the building.

There is a lift, which takes visitors up to the next floor where the disabled seats are. There is plenty of room in it to accommodate all sizes of wheelchairs. There is a disabled toilet on this floor, which is roomy and posed no size issues. Everything is at a good level and within reach.

There is a bar, which has a lower section for people who use a wheelchair, who are looking for drinks or snacks.

Inside the amphitheatre, the wheelchair seating is to the right and left of the stage. However, there are no assigned spaces for tickets, so finding a space can be difficult and did create a bit of confusion at the time. It was rightly congested too, as other wheelchair uses where coming in the opposite direction, who were also looking for a space. However, there was staff there, who helped everyone find a spot.
