Bogans Bar, Omagh REVIEW

Bogan’s Bar is a small and popular pub, situated central in Omagh town. The pub consists of four small bars. A front bar, a back bar, a cocktail bar and the upstair’s bar.

There is no elevator in Bogan’s, so unfortunately upstairs is completely inaccessible to anyone in a wheelchair. There is no disabled toilets in the pub, but there is plenty of room to move around in, in the downstair’s toilets. However to access them, there is a series of small corridors to get around.

There is also very little space to move in, within the pub. This makes it difficult for someone to get around in a wheelchair. There is no place to park the wheelchair at a table, but the staff are very good in helping disabled people to a seat and moving the wheelchair to a space.

Recently there has been an extention put it next door, to cater for private parties and live bands. This is known locally as Next Door @ Bogans.

Unfortunately this part of the establishment is upstairs, with no access to the floor for clientele with mobility restrictions and/or use a wheelchair. However the staff are willing to lift person and chair upstairs.

However this is far from an ideal solution. Once upstairs, there is also no disabled toilets.
