Vicar Street, Dublin REVIEW

Vicar Street is a well-known music and comedy venue in Dublin. It is not possible to access the venue from the main entrance. However, the door staff provide help by taking disabled clientele to an alternative, wheelchair friendly accessible point.

This access takes you into the main bar area, without having to go via any backroom sites. The bar is open and spacious, with good space to move between people and tables.

There is a disable toilet within the venue, which is kept clean. It is quite small, but suitable for it’s purpose and location.

In the venue arena itself, there is an area for disabled people to view near the stage. It’s not a first-come, first-service basis. Like all booking for Vicar Street, you need to make sure you book the disabled friendly spot.
