This programme will open at 9.00am on Wednesday 4 November 2020 and close at 5.00pm on Tuesday 1 December 2020.
On 26 October 2020 the communities Minister, Carál Ní Cuilín, announced the provision of funding to support the Culture, Language, Arts and Heritage sectors which have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, including a specific provision to be made for Sign Language which will provide for immediate, short term interventions (from November 2020 to March 2021) to stabilise organisations and to act as a catalyst for recovery and renewal within the sector.

Eligibility
- You need to be over 18 and living in/based in Northern Ireland;
- Applications will only be accepted via email as our office is unmanned – please ensure you answer all questions.
There are several sections incorporated within this form, please complete the sections relevant to you / your organisation.
- Section One – providing applicant details – To be completed by all applicants
- Section Two – Application for loss of income/earnings funding
- Section Three – Application for Project Funding
- Section Four – Summary of Funding applied for – To be completed by all applicants.
- Section Five – Applicant’s Statement – To be completed by all applicants.
If you are applying for both loss of income/earnings funding and project funding, please complete both sections two and three.
The Department for Communities will require supporting documentation and will consider this along with the details you have provided. Please provide any supporting documentation that you feel is relevant to your application. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Details of income, revenue and core running costs for the 12 months ending 31 March 2020
- Projected income, revenue and core running costs for the 12 months ending 31 March 2021
- Proof of expenditure for additional costs incurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic

Please note the Department may carry out test checks to verify loss of earnings/income. For organisations who apply for funding, this will require proof in the form of Auditor/Accountant documentation, while for individual applicants, Bank Account statements may be required.
Successful applicants for project funding will be required to provide proof of spending.
A Post project Evaluation Form will be required from every successful applicant.
