The Clanree Hotel is situated on the Derry Road in Letterkenny. It is very busy and popular hotel for conferences and weddings.
At the front of the hotel, there is plenty of disabled parking bays, with good space to move between the transport and the access of the hotel in safety. Once inside the hotel, there is a large open space, but yet keeps the traditional cosy feel.
The reception is desk is a little high for disabled customers, whether they are short or low down in a wheelchair, however the hotel staff are very accommodating and eager to assist in all possible ways.
There are no automatic doors within the building and they are quite heavy to open, however during functions such as weddings, they are normally all opened to provide easy access.
The seating arrangements in the function room is open and offer plenty of open space to move around, posing no restrictive areas for those in a wheelchair. They are disabled toilets provided off to the function rooms, that are kept clean and spacious for comfortable use.
