Off the A32, this traditional, family-run guesthouse is 4.3 miles from Castle Archdale Forest and 9.5 miles from Enniskillen Castle.
On arrival, there is a large car park at the rear of the hotel, with ample of space for any any car, including MPVs and SUVs. However, there is a steep incline in parts, so choose your parking spot carefully.
The door to access McMahon was heavy, which took me several attempts and careful manoeuvring in my power wheelchair. Once inside, the reception desk is high, so you may not be seen if low down. However, there is an open space around the side that gives full access to the receptionist.
The main restaurant has a few tables and chairs when you enter, but the main area is down several steps. There is a wheelchair lift for those who require it, but it does need to be operated by a member of staff.
The bar and lounge is a nice and warm secluded area, with a small open fire. However the bar is up a flight of steps, but alert the staff to this and they will run a table service for you.
The staff were very courteous when I was in and attended to my every need and request. It was a friendly service with a smile, and no request was too much for them.
I did not require the toilets when I was there, so did not see what their facilities were like.
